Welcoming Spring in Newburyport

 oil pastel  9×12    Crane Beach…”Stopping”

This is one of  my paintings that is hanging at Valeries Gallery in Newburyport. It is a 9×12 oil pastel framed with a 3 in. black and gold frame. Love the way it looks hanging on the rustic brick wall at the Gallery.  Fun to see so many people  “out and about” yesterday…lots of “foot traffic” which is typical for Newburyport when it’s nice out.  Such a great place to wander around and check out all of the different shops,  and restaurants.   I actually lived there in the early 80’s for three years when I was single so being there always evokes alot of good memories.   It feels right to being showing my paintings there…sort of like going home again.

Sounds like a wonderful way to welcome spring. I love the colors in Crane Beach “Stopping”.
