I love to paint the sky on cloudy days. The mood changes minute by minute and it is always a challenge to capture the feeling.
The past couple of days the cloud formations have been especially interesting. At one point as I was driving early in the morning they looked like huge waves on the horizon. I was having trouble keeping my eyes on the road . I didn’t have a camera with me but I took a mental picture of it and plan to paint what I saw sometime soon before I lose the image . Painting from memory is like looking at an old photo album and going back in time.

Hi Fellow “Skywatcher”, The sky is always there. We can put roofs or walls between us & the sky but like God it is always there when we let the walls down. Let the child in you watch the clouds and see the images that are there. Nature sends us messages to us is so many wonderful ways.
Like a good friend…always there for you when you need her.
Hi Aunt collen!!! Gramma D told me to go on your website! I love your paintings! when I saw one of your paintings hanging on Gramma D’s wall, I thought claude monet painted it! We did an art show at our school, and I did one by Edgar Degas. We also learned all the different types of art, Impressionist is my favorite! Your paintings are really beautiful You are an inspiration for me!
