I never planted these poppies in my garden … they just showed up!
I’m pretty sure that they “tagged along” with some ferns that a friend shared with me. It makes me smile to see a burst of orange in my otherwise “all white garden” !

I love poppies!
I have had them for over 40 years & they just keep multiplying & returning early every spring to announce spring is here! They are a sign to remember a Veteran over Memorial Day Weekend. I wonder whose soul has left a message in your garden?
Aren’t poppies a sign of eternity?
Your garden looks lovely. I need to get my act together and plant more in my garden, or, in the case of your poppies, hope the plants come to me. Thanks for the inspiration Colleen!
Thanks Sarah…I would love for you to come over sometime and I’ll share some of my plants with you. It’s definitely time to divide them! Maybe a few poppies would like to move to Rockport! I may come with them
What wonderful color. No surprise they landed in the garden of an artist.
