Today instead of doing loads of laundry and errands that can wait I’m going into my Studio to finish a painting of the beach that I started earlier in the week. There won’t be any greenheads or noisy beachgoers kicking up sand. I’ll be alone … just the way I like it. Time Out. And after I’m pleased with the progress of the painting I’ll park myself in a lawn chair to do some sky watching . Maybe even close my eyes and take a nap…. “Summertime and the living is easy….” it can be.
